翻译中“回避策略”的多维思考

由于中西方在历史背景、社会习俗、宗教文化、意识形态等方面的差异,翻译中常采用"回避策略"来解决。在本文中,作者借用二语习得中"回避策略"这一概念,探究了翻译中"回避策略"的理论依据,并从政治、读者、美学、文化和译语的视角出发,对翻译中"回避策略"产生的客观原因进行了多维思考。以此说明,翻译中采用"回避策略"是一种客观现象,它实质上是采用变通手段和方法来解决翻译中的障碍,具有积极意义。

＂Avoidance strategy＂ is always used in translation because of the differences between China and western countries in historical background, social customs, religion, culture, ideology and so on. By quoting the concept of ＂avoidance strategy＂, which comes from the second acquisition in linguistics, the paper will expound the theoretical evidences of ＂avoidance strategy＂ in translation history and discuss its objective reasons from the multiple points of policy, readers, esthetics, culture and target language. Also the paper concludes that the use of ＂avoidance strategy＂ in translation is an objective phenomenon and it, in fact, is a versatile and effective method to solve the difficulties in translation.
