Negative Influence of Yi People's Elaborate Funeral Custom on Their Development of Economy

经济是基础,是文化、教育、科技、政治、军事、社会发展的直接动力。彝族地区千百年来形成的传统文化根深蒂固,厚葬这种世俗观念已经愈演愈烈,并对当地经济的发展造成了严重的负面影响。本文试从彝族厚葬习俗的角度来论述民族经济发展的影响,并提出切实可行的解决策略和途径。

Economy is the foundation and the direct force of cultural, educational, technical, political, military and social development. Any country or nationality that wants to stand firm among the powerful nations must have formidable economy to take the safeguard. The development of economy becomes the main problem of a nation and a country. In Yi Area, the traditional custom of having an elaborate funeral is deeply rooted in Yi people＇s mind.
