摘要
本文提出了一种补偿式玻璃内应力测试仪(PYC—Ⅰ型),它应用的是o光与e光在单轴晶体内不同的速度,以及产生偏振光干涉的理论。利用玻璃存在内应力而产生双折射,使偏振光干涉条纹变形作为检测信号。精确地测得干涉条纹的变形量,就能得到玻璃内应力的量。使用巴比涅补偿器测量精度可优于λ/20。
Based on the birefraction caused by inner-stress in glass a potarization intererometer, Model PYC-Ⅰ, with Babinet's compensation is designed for measuring he glass inner-stress with an accuracy of λ/20. The main features of this equiment are discussed in detail.
