Interview with Zhang Qing, the Curator of “Jelly Age”

The real curator is to reveal today＇s most obvious problem and find the problem leading to future＇s art and letting people discuss, which may be the highlight of contemporary age and the most important cultural symbol of concepts and images in this age. How is contemporary art？ So we find independent and ambitious artists to see what they are doing. The biggest feature of artists in “Jelly Age” is the transformation of concept and image. Their art feature is diversity on forms, and illustration, cartoon, animation have been their basic language. The concept of “Jelly Age” consists of three aspects： “Infant Youth”, “About Chinese Art Form and Exploration” and “The Reflection of Contemporary Art and Society in International View”.
