This paper defines and analyzes the major features of cuhural industry, and introduces the general conditions and main experiences of the development of domestic and overseas cultural industry. It throws light on the significance of quickening the pace of cultural industry development in the faster and better expansion of Suzhou. It points out the several relations that should be dealt with in the progress of the cultural industry development in Suzhou.
