摘要
我们在培养英语专业学生的逻辑思维、创新和独立思维能力的教学中还存在一定的问题。英语阅读课因其题材广泛、信息容量大,如果课程设计合理,可以在一定程度上解决这个问题。但是目前的英语专业阅读课却没有引起学生和教师的足够重视,教学模式单一。教师过分注重阅读策略的训练,而忽略了学生的阅读兴趣。定量研究结果表明,合作学习模式受到学生们的普遍欢迎。
English majors lack logical thinking, ability of innovation and creativity. Through reasonable curriculum design, Extensive Reading course can solve this problem in a certain degree. However, both teachers and students do not give enough attention to Extensive Reading course. Teachers mainly focus on teaching reading strategies while ignoring students' reading interest. The research carried out in this paper shows co-operative learning model is well received among students.
