New Views on Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Soviet

20世纪50年代中期,苏联和日本都倾向于恢复两国的外交关系。苏联一度打算把齿舞群岛和色丹岛返还给日本,但鸠山政府却不能接受这种让步。即便如此,日苏间还是实现了邦交正常化。这无论对日本还是对苏联的国家发展,皆具有不可估量的意义。

In mid - 1950s, both Japan and Soviet prepared to restore their diplomatic relations. The Soviet once planed to return Habomai and Shikotan to Japan, but Hatoyama Administration could not accept this concession. However, the normalization of the diplomatic relations between Japan and Soviet finally was realized. It was very important for the national development of Japan and Soviet.
