摘要
在英语学习中,中国学生会犯很多关于动词的错误,本文力图通过配价理论和语义角色来解释其中的部分错误。通过研究错误例句发现:中国学生在将汉语动词的用法迁移到英语动词上时,没有注意到两者可能存在的差别,即它们可能要求不同数目的配价,此外,即使它们所要求的配价数目相同,配价的语义角色也可能不同。因此,在讲授英语动词时,教师应让学生注意英语动词与汉语动词以上两种不同,以帮助其减少动词错误。
In learning English, Chinese students make a lot of mistakes about English verbs. This paper tries to account for some of the mistakes by employing valency and the notion of semantic roles. Through the analysis of some erroneous sentences, it was found that when Chinese students transferred the usage of Chinese verbs to that of English verbs, they may have failed to notice their differences in the number of valents they require or the different semantic roles played by the valents. Therefore, in teaching, teachers should draw students' attention to these differences between English verbs and Chinese verbs to help them reduce errors.
