"三个代表"重要思想是新时期加强和改进党的思想政治工作的根本指针。思想政治工作的着力点要放在基层单位。用"三个代表"重要思想指导基层思想政治工作,首要任务是用邓小平理论武装全党,教育干部群众;还要做好四个结合;创新工作思想、教育内容、方法手段和工作载体;建立和完善保障体系。

The important thought of ＂Three -Represents＂ is the fundamental guideline for strengthening and improving the Party＇s ideological and political work in the new period. A basic point of departure of the ideological and political work should be laid on the grassroots units. In the ideological and political work on grassroots with the guidance of the Important Thought of ＂Three - Represents＂ ,the chief task is to arm the entire Party membership and to educate our cadres and people with Deng Xiaoping Theory. And we have to do well the four integrating work. The work thoughts ,the education contents, methods and the work carriers should be innovated. And the ensuring system should be established and consummated.
