Treatment of Hospital Wastewater Using Pressurized Bio-contact Oxidation Process

The pressurized bio-contact oxidation is used to describe a steel-made high pressure vessel in which bio-film is grown and attached onto the suspended ball-shaped media. With the pressure being raised in the vessel and DO increasing in the wastewater, degradation of organic pollutants enhances. The method is advantageous over smaller space demanded and stable running in meeting the requirement of effluent discharge.
