Feng Zikai has a dual identity of caricaturist and proser, his caricature is greatly influenced by literature and thus has abundant literature implication. In some of his caricatures, he uses the artistic conception of ancient poetry to manifest the modern life, as well as the thoughts and feelings of modern people; some of his caricatures are closely related to his daily life and supplement his prose; and some execute their effect by their inscriptions.
