摘要
高频地波雷达探测海洋状况和跟踪移动目标时,电离层干扰严重影响了雷达的工作性能。阐述了电离层干扰的来源,分析了电离层干扰的时间和空间特性,指出其在雷达相干积累时间之内在空间上具有稳定性,结合高频地波雷达OSMAR系统的阵列结构,采用分段自适应旁瓣对消的处理方法来抑制电离层干扰。对实测数据处理的结果表明该方法能够有效地抑制电离层干扰,改善海洋回波一阶峰的信噪比,从而提高了雷达对海洋的探测性能。
High frequency surface wave radar (HFSWR) has many advantages in remote-sensing of ocean environment monitoring, which can extract sea surface state parameters and track the moving targets. As one of the main external interference, ionospheric interference may badly affect radar's performance. An effective method for ionospheric interference suppression in HFSWR based on subsection coherent side-lobe cancellation is presented. Experimental results acquired by the HF system OSMAR confirm that the method can achieve effective ionospheric interference suppression without decreasing the strength of the first-order sea echo.
