Rutin, being the flavonoids compounds exists in the plants widely, has broad medical value. The structure, properties, preparation, medical value of Rutin and its derivatives are introduced. The applied research advancement of the metal complexes of Rutin and its derivatives used in electric chemistry, chromatographic analysis, photometric analysis and pharmacological research are reviewed.
