The Deng Xiao -pings thought of criminal law can be concluded in four respects： putting emphasis on the construction of judicial organs, lawyers and criminal legislations; the basic thoughts of criminal justice; thought of tracking crime severely and the thought that death penalty should not be abolished and death penalty should be cautiously performed. These thoughts have great effect on Chinas criminal legislation, and will also influence Chinas legal practice and modification in the future.
