Retrospect and Prospect of Maize Seed Industry in China

研究了我国玉米种子的历史、现状和发展,搜集并运用多年统计资料进行分析和比较。结果表明,我国玉米种子种植区域、种植面积、生产规模、科技转化能力都呈现上升趋势,尤其是2000年《种子法》颁布并实施以来。为保障我国玉米种子市场良好的发展趋势,要继续推进育繁推一体化、产学研相结合的以市场为导向的经济运行体系。

The history, status and development of maize seed were studied. The results of analysis and comparison with the data collected in many years showed that the trends of planting area, producing scale and transfer ability of science and technology kept rising, since the seed law was implemented in 2000. For ensuring the good development of maize seed market, the economy operation system of integrations of breeding, reproduction and sale, and combination of production, study with research based on marketing economy should be carried forward.
