试论藏传佛教寺院教育的历史作用

On Historical Function of Tibetan Buddhism Temple Education

历史上,藏传佛教寺院教育不仅在教学体制、教学内容、教学方法以及学位制度等方面具有鲜明的特色,而且对藏族文化的继承和发展以及培养人才诸方面起过重要的作用。主要论述了藏传佛教宁玛、噶当、萨迦、噶举、格鲁等五大教派的寺院教育的特色及其历史作用。

Historically, Tibetan Buddhism temple education not only formed its own distinctive features in such aspects as teaching system, teaching content, teaching methods, and diploma system, but also played a positive role in carrying -forward and development of Tibetan culture, and cultivation of talented personnel. In this paper, the author elaborated the characteristics and historical function of temple education of five major sects of Tibetan Buddhism： Ningma, Gedang, Sajia, Geju, and Gelu.
