Some Considerations About the Industrial Transition of Resourse-based Cities

由于不可再生资源的日渐匮乏,以资源型产业为支柱产业的资源型城市普遍面临着经济效益严重递减及环境问题日益突出的问题。为了避免资源危机及其所引发的经济危机和生态危机造成的结构性衰退,实现经济的可持续发展和构建和谐社会,资源型城市必须实现产业结构的转型与优化。

Because of the shortage and exhaustion of non-renewable resource, resource-based cities developed on the basis of resource exploitation are commonly confronted with the severe problem of economic development and environmental protection. To avoid the structural recession caused by economic and ecological crisis derived from resource crisis, to maintain economic sustainable development and build harmonious society, resource-based cities need to fulfill the transition and upgrade of industrial structure.
