Ethics Thought on Ruling the Country by Law

中国是一个有着几千年封建历史和人治传统的文明古国。在这样的国度里建设法治,切不可感情用事,一哄而起,而要回顾历史,立足现实,进行冷静地观察与思考。本文从中国的历史出发,立足于现实,提出了以历史主义、现实主义为指导,立足本国,放眼世界,从中国社会寻找和发掘法治的生长点,建设有中国特色法治化国家的新思路——建立刚柔相济的法律体系。

China is a civilized country with thousands of feudal history and tradition of ruling by manpower. Ruling by law in China must be serious on the base of observation and careful thinking. From a Chinese history point of view and under the guide of historicism and modernism, it is put forward that a law system with temper force with mercy be set up on the base of the situation of China and the world. This is a new way to rule China by law with Chinese characteristics.
