The grand piano tuning is a difficult point in tuning and also the touchstone to test out the ability of piano - tuners. The article summarizes the skills of grand piano tuning in six parts.the preparation before tuning, tuning procedure, tuning techniques,the conception of intonation -zone and intonation- curve,tuning skill of high -pitch area as well as bass area.
