The paper, taking UniGear type ZS 3.2 metal clad switch for instance, analyzed the situation of switch equipment market in objectivity, discussed in details the approach to making 35kV switches suit for being used in safety and reliability in high height area, that is, strengthening its insulation degree and improving apparatus according to its experimental data of power frequency withstanding voltage test and lightning impulse withstanding voltage test.
