By expounding on the basic concept of information hiding and making a comparison between two main features of information hiding techniques, the article analyzes two countermeasure techniques——steganalysis and watermark attack from the opposite side of information hiding and probes into a research approach to information hiding techniques. Furthermore, it introduces the application of information hiding to various fields.
