摘要
在图像的传输和存储过程中，为减少传输时间与存储空间，必须进行图像压缩。同时，图像压缩技术也是多媒体技术中的一项关键技术。本文介绍一种静态实时图像压缩处理系统。该系统选用专用图像压缩处理器ＣＬ５５０、以ＪＰＥＧ标准完成对静态图像的实时编码压缩处理。
During transmitting and storing information of digital image, in order to decrease the time of transmission and the space of storage, image compression procedure must to be done. Also, this technique is a key section in the multimedia field. In the paper, a kind of real time coding compression processing system for still image has been introduced, which selects a special image compression processor CL550 in accord with JPEG standard and describes the features and functions of CL550 processor and the system.
