狼疮危象是指急性危及生命的重症SLE。免疫净化疗法可在短时间内大量、快速地清除循环中的致病因素,缓解狼疮危象。血浆置换分离血浆和血液细胞,弃掉含有致病物质的血浆,补充等量置换液,存在血清性传染病的危险。免疫吸附特异性地清除血液中与免疫有关的致病因子,不需要置换液,无发生血源传播疾病的危险。细胞净化减少循环中T、B淋巴细胞数量,使产生自身抗体能力下降。
