Walter Benjamin's Reading of Franz Kafka

许多研究者,比如汉娜.阿伦特根据本雅明对现代主义小说大师卡夫卡的阐释进行解读,认为本雅明是位没落失意的旧式文人,而不是关注文学与历史现实的激进革命思想家。本文从"希望"这一中心概念入手,通过文本细读的方法澄清了这一错误认识,并对与之相关的一些本雅明研究中的问题进行了探讨。

It is hold by some researchers like Hanna Aredt that Walter Benjamin is some kind of a decadent homme de lettres, or a freelancer writer rather than a Marxist thinker according to his famous thesis on Kafka, the leading modernist novelist. But through a careful reading of Walter Benjamin＇s text it can be concluded such viewpoint is not true and at the same time some important Marxist views on literature and history will be analysed.
