改革开放以来,我国的农民和农村已经发生了深刻的变化。但我国是一个农业大国,大多数农民仍然没有摆脱落后的生产、生活方式。从发展前景来看,只有占人口大多数的农民实现了现代化,全国才能实现现代化。笔者认为研究毛泽东同志一生对农民的强烈情怀,对我国进行现代化建设具有重要的启示意义。

Great changes have taken place in China＇s countryside since the reform and open-up policy of more than 20 years.However,China is still a large agricultural country,great number of peasants have not yet got rid of the backward productive and living way.With the perspective of China＇s modernization development,only by realizing the modernization of the majority of the peasants,can the realization of whole China come true.A study on Mao Zedong＇s emotion upon peasants is of great significance to current modernization construction.
