With its convenience,swiftness and flexibility, interactive technology plays a more and more important role in open distant education and modern multi--media instructions. This article mainly introduces the concept and classification of interactive technology, the contents and the significance of the interactive technology in multimedia teaching systems. This article sets out the techniques and observations in the design of database in the CAI courseware and discusses the fulfillment of interactive technology in the testing system of online courseware,as well as the improvement measures.
