SURVEY ON MEDIUM ACCESS CONTROL PROTOCOL IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

摘要 无线传感器网络作为当前研究的一个热点方向,吸引了众多研究者和机构的注意力。无线传感器网络的受限特点决定了其设计目标有别于其它网络,在其它网络结构中运行良好的协议并不适合于无线传感器网络。因此,许多研究工作通过研究不同应用下的媒体访问控制层特性,提出了一系列协议。总结了相关方面的工作,对主要的协议进行分类比较和分析,并提出了一些值得继续研究的方面。 As a hotspot, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have attracted so many researchers and institutes. The characteristic of limitation in WSN makes the goal of design different comparing with the other networks. The protocol which runs very well in other networks does not suit the WSN perfectly. Therefore many new protocols have been specifically designed according to different applications and the characteristic of MAC. Related works are surveyed, and research challenges are discussed based on the analysis and comparison.
