王筠的《教童子法》对“小学”的基本教育教学原则和汉语言文字教学法作了系统的论述。从汉语作为第二语言教学的角度，立足于当代，重新对其进行阐述，就需要在汉语言文字教学的大背景下，以整合各方面优秀教育教学资源为指导方针，着重探析它对本学科之汉字教学、阅读教学和写作教学的启示。这对于丰富汉语作为第二语言教学的教学理论和教学法，发展学科体系建设，有着一定的借鉴作用。

From the perspective of interpretation of this book should shed light on the teaching of Chinese organic whole and on the teaching theory of TCFL as a discipline.
