PAN Yue Integrity in His Poems upon the Emperor's Order

应制之作大都以歌功颂德为主,潘岳的《关中诗》却以直谏独为标格。本文通过对史评中阿谀奉承、无气节的潘岳形象进行再认识,力图一定程度上澄清对潘岳及其作品的误解,使之得以有文学史意义上的客观评价。

Poems upon emperor＇ s order are generally characterized with the singing of praises of emperors, but PAN Yue＇ s Guanzhong＇ s Poems are characterized with straight expostulation and integrity. By means of giving a recognition of image of PAN Yue in history-critic——greasiness and lack of moral courage, the paper tries to clarify, to some extent, the misunderstanding of PAN Yue＇ s works and renders objective evaluation to it in terms of literary history value.
