On Translatability of T-shirt English

从中外文化差异、英文俚语、词汇学、可译性和语用学等角度,分析文化衫英文的难易程度和可译性,找出其中规律,旨在提高社会对于文化衫翻译这一文化现象的重视。

As the result of culture differences and the use of English slang, untranslatability and non-equivalence of T-shirt English become a problem and barrier to consumers to some extent. With the aim to arrouse people＇ s attention to such cultural phonomenon as the translation of T-shirt, this article works out the problem and translatability of T-shirt English to find out rules from the viewpoint of culture differences, English slangs, lexicology, translatability and pragmatics.
