现代大学制度强调学术自治和学术自由,要求实行开放,实现以人为本。我国法律赋予了高校工会独立的社会团体法人身份。高校工会要找准自身在学校运作和管理中的定位,以社团法人身份独立参与现代大学的建章立制,完善缓冲功能,服务于教学科研,推动校务公开,培育职业道德和校园人文精神,为创建现代大学制度与和谐校园做出贡献。

The modem system of higher educational institutions emphasizes academic self- government and academic freedom and requests exoteric attribute and people-oriented environment. The Staff Union in Chinese higher educational institutions is legally set up as an independent corporation aggregate, and so Staff Unions should make good self-orientation in college operation and management, participate in role-and-regulation making, perfect the function of cushion, serve teaching and academic research, promote the publicity of college affairs, develop professional ethics and campus humanism. Staff Unions should make contributions to creating a modem system of higher educational institutions and a harmonious campus.
