General English Teaching Reform in Our College:Review and Outlook

本文在回顾我院公共英语课程教学改革的基础上,提出了我院新一轮公共英语课程教学的改革举措。文章提出,公共英语课程教学改革既要有教师学生的积极参与,更要有科学的教学管理方式方法和政策导向。如果只停留在研究如何实施分级教学,忽略其他方面,那么公共英语课程的教学改革不会有长足的进步。

This article comments on the general English teaching reform in our college and comes up with suggestions for further reform. The article holds that the general English teaching reform will not make further progress if we only study how to place students in certain classes according to the assessment of their current English levels with other decisive measures neglected.
