Objective:To observe the effects of traumatic shock on the exchanges of plasma Interleukin 8(IL-8) ,endothelin(ET) ,ealeitonin-gene related peptide(CGRP)and arterial blood gas analysis (ABGA)in rats. Methods:The rats were shocked by fracturing the posterior limbs and the plasma concentration of ET and CGRP and arterial blood gas analysis in the rats were compared before shock and 1, 3, 5 and 12 h after resuscitation. Results:The significant changes were observed in the level of IL-8,ET and CGRP and PCO2 and PO2 and SO2 in blood samples at the end of shock and 1,3,5 and 12 h after resuscitation. The results of IL-8, ET and CGRP increased significantly compared with that of pre-shock. Tbe summit occurred 5 h after resuscitation. The results of PCO2 in ABGA also showed the significant increase, while the results of PO2 and SO2 declined. Conclusion:The traumatic shock affect significantly on the changes of ET and CGRP and ABGA in rats, and ET and CGRP played an important role in traumatic shock resuscitation.
