According to the characteristics of radioactive sources used in geological exploration, testing methods for the used and crapped radioactive sources have been developed based on the classification, activity, surface dose rate and surface polluting rate of the radioactive sources. More than one hundred radioactive sources have been tested and filed using these testing methods with satisfactory results.
