The environmental protection of laboratories in universities and institutions is an important aspect of laboratory management. To achieve an efficient environmental protection system is able to realize Scientific View of Development and is significant in constructing a coordinated university. Based on the practice carried out at Nankai University, this manuscript demonstrates the principal methods and key procedures of establishing environmental protection in laboratories, with the aim to achieve a long-run, standard, and scientific environmental safety system.
