Two Contradictory Subjects Expressed in Xiao Hong's "Hometown"

萧红对启蒙思想的认同,使其创作具有着强烈的对"故乡"的批判精神,而童年体验和传统文化的作用,又使其对"故乡"有着深深的留恋,这就导致了萧红创作对民间启蒙的希望与怀疑,对故乡追寻的希望与怀疑的双重矛盾。

Xiao Hong＇ s self-identity to initiation thoughts made her creation have strong critical spirit to her ＂hometown＂. But she was also reluctant to leave the ＂hometown＂ deeply because of her childhood experiences and traditional culture, which caused dual contradictions of Xiao Hong＇ s creation： hope and doubt to folk initiation , hope and doubt to searching for hometown.
