安乐死应定义为“安乐地死亡”，它是一种死亡状态，不是死亡原因，不决定死亡的性质，不构成独立的死亡方式。其本质是死得安乐、优死，不是无痛致死。其对象是死者，不是患者。其目的不是从生向死的转化，而是克服死亡愚昧，实现死亡文明化。

Definition for euthanasia should be “dying peacefully and happily”.Euthanasia must be known as a state not a cause of death,not the character of death,not an independent style of death.The essence of euthanasia is dying peacefully,happily and superiorly,but not causing death without pain.The object is the dead not the patient.The aim of operating euthanasia is to overcome dying ignorantly and to bring about dying civilized,not transform life to death.
