With the geological conditions of the Huhe Lake Basin introduced, this article analyzes the development of coal seams and coal quality characters in this area. This article also deals with the adsorptivity of the local coal seams and finally gives an evaluation of the coalbed methane content and total coalbed methane reserves in Huhe Lake Basin.
