Investigation on Growth and Distribution of Macadamia Root System in Soil

对４个品种７－１０年龄澳洲坚果嫁接树挖根调查结果表明，澳洲坚果根系浅，主根不明显。７０％的根系主要集中分布在０ｃｍ－３０ｃｍ的土壤中，７０ｃｍ以下土壤未发现有根系生长。

Investigation on root system of 4 cv. of 7 - 10 - yr - old macadamia grafting tree show that macadamia is shallow- rooted plant and tap root is not obvious. 70 % root distribute in 0cm- 30cm soil layer. The root was not discoved under depth of 70 cm.
