Studies on KV Type Cytoplasmic Effects on Heterosis in Rice

用同核异质体不育系ＫＶ型福伊Ａ和ＷＡ型福伊Ａ配制１２个组合，对构成产量主要性状进行比较分析，结果表明：Ｆ１超亲优势ＫＶ型组合大于ＷＡ型组合，由于穗数、穗粒数和结实率的增强。

Six pairs of F 1 hybrids made from two types of CMS lines, i.e., KV type Fuyi A and WA type Fuyi A, and six restorer lines, were compared in the major characters such as panicles/plant, spikelets/panicle, seed setting percentage, 1 000-grain weight and grain yield/plant to study for the cyptoplasmic effects of KV type on heterosis. The results showed that the KV type cytoplasm was superior to the WA type cytoplasm in the heterobeltiosis of the tested characters in the hybrids. The higher values of effecfive panicles, spikelets per panicle and seed set resulted in a higher grain yield per plant in the hybrids of KV type Fuyi A, compared with in those of WA type Fuyi A (statistically different at 5% level).
