Building Resource-saving Countryside in China

建设资源节约型社会是我国“十一五”规划的主要内容。资源节约型社会的建设是全方位的,包括城市与农村。在农村,合理开发和利用资源、实行节约是人与自然和谐的重要内容,是可持续发展的内在要求。建设资源节约型农村,必须以科学认识节约型社会的深刻内涵为前提,自觉遵循自然规律行事,坚持和实施开发与节约并重,以节约优先,把农村生产、建设、消费领域的节约工作放在首位,实现我国农村的可持续的科学发展。

Building resource-saving society is one objective of China's Eleventh Five-year Plan.One important aspect of building the resource-saving society is to reasonably exploit and utilize resources,which is an important way to realize harmony between human and nature.In building resource-saving countryside,we must attach more importance to saving resources in rural production and consumption,by which we can realize sustainable development.
