《乞力马扎罗山的雪》映射出海明威的人生轨迹和生命意识,其意识流手法和丰厚的象征解读了战争留下的心灵创伤,揭示了"迷惘的一代"对生存的困惑,表征了写作是哈里亦即海明威生命的维系,寻求才是永恒,直面死亡才会深思生命的意义。
The Snows of Kilimanjaro is a reflection of Hemingway＇s life and life-consciousness. Its stream-of consciousness style and rich symbols well interpret the distressing post-war trauma experi- enced by “the Lost Generation”, reveal their hassling puzzlement about existence, and illustrates why writing is the lifeline of Harry ＆ Hemingway and eternity can be obtained only in constant pursuit and how the meaning of life is reveled when confronting death.
