To meet the reqirements of aquiculture, Marine Fishery and Navigation, the paper gives some practical methods for calcalting semidiurnal tidal current and improves the traditional methods by giving a new formulan. Moreover, the new method improves the prediction precision and simplifies the process of the calculation.
