The paper summaries the copyright protection legislation and the scholarly research situation related to the digital library domestic and foreign. Facing to the two viewpoints of copyright strengthening and weakening, the author proposes the thought of moderate protection. The paper also elaborates mainly the benefit balance principle, system ponder principle and social benefit principle that the digital library copyright moderate protection must follow.
