The window of computer is a kind of operating system dealing with the text, which enables users to run several programs simultaneously. As the story goes, Humbolt＇s Gift opens a sequence of narrating ＂windows＂ for the readers to follow to go deep into the narrative space - time of the text. The development of the story is achieved by the opening and the closing of such windows with its narration similar to the processing of computers.
