从《林纾的翻译》看翻译的可译性与不可译性

通过对著名翻译家钱钟书先生《林纾的翻译》一文的研究,从中看到钱先生对翻译研究的第一哲学性问题——可译与不可译的论说有非常独到的见解和阐释。钱先生通过对林纾翻译作品的评论,把翻译的指导原则和翻译技法通过"诱"、"媒"、"讹"、"化"等极有概括力的字一一体现出来,充分体现了文学作品可译与不可译之间的辨证关系。其思想对我们从事翻译理论的研究和翻译实践的操作都具有重要的指导价值。

Translatability. or untranslatability has always been a controversial issue in translation studies . so many translation theorists and critics have researched and argued about it. This paper aims at introducing the views of Qianzhongshu from his famous work ＂Linshu＇s Translation ＂ . Mr. Qian used some terms to express the translation spirits and skills vividly, his thinking of translation is very useful and significative for translation study and practice.
