Survey Report on Drug Situation in Golden Triangle(4)——Survey on Drug Smuggle into China from Northern Laos

2007年1月18日至20日,国家社科项目"‘金三角’地区毒品对我渗透形势的新变化及应对策略研究"课题组赴老挝北部与我国边境一带进行了毒情调研。由于中国与老挝近年来多次联合开展扫毒行动,大力发展替代种植,取得显著成效,老挝北部地区毒品对我渗透形势已经发生根本改变。

During January 18 - 20, 2007, the team of national sociological science project titled ＂New Tendency of Drug Smuggle into China From ‘Golden Triangle＇ and Corresponding Strategies＂ had conducted a survey on the drug situation in northern Laos and the frontier neighboring Laos of China. China and Laos have cooperated to carry out several drug - crackdown actions in recent years, as well as popularizing the poppy substituting planting, both of which have brought significant effect. The situation of drug smug- gling into China from the Golden Triangle of northern Laos has been ultimately changed.
