Discussing the Implication and Aesthetics Function of Marriage Metaphor in Lisao

"婚恋"比兴在《离骚》中构成一个相对独立的艺术系统,在诗中起两种作用:一是涵载了诗中许多重大意蕴。如与楚王的政治关系、与群小的斗争、争取同志及留楚与去楚的思想斗争等。二是赋予全诗丰富的美感。如深浓的"艳"色与浪漫主义色彩,生动的故事性和含蓄美。

The marriage metaphor in Lisao constructed a comparative independent system, which played two parts of roles. First, it bears lots of great implication such as the political relation with Chu King, the struggle with the brazen people, the ideal struggle whether staying Chu or not and so on. Second, it is full of aesthetical feeling including the rich color, the romantic color, the active novelty and the obscure aesthetics.
