二万五千里长征是党的光辉历史篇章,长征的胜利是战略转移的胜利,也是党的民族理论政策的重大胜利。长征红军在甘、宁途中的一系列民族工作不仅增进了这里的民族关系与民族团结,而且极大地促进了回族人民的思想进步,使之对党领导的革命发生了根本的态度转变并积极投身其中。与此同时,甘、宁地区的民族实际及党在甘、宁地区的民族工作实践,为党民族理论体系的逐步形成与完善提供了经验和参考,从而最终确立统一多民族国家内民族区域自治的基本民族政策,使甘、宁地区和民族走上了正确的发展道路。

The LongMarch is Party＇s glory history chapter,and the victory of Long March is the strategic shift victory and is also great victory of Party＇s national theory policy.The series of national work of the Long March Red Army on the way in Gansu and Ningxia not only promoted ethnic relations and the national unity here,but also promoted the Hui people＇s progress in thought enormously ,which caused them have the basic manner transformation toward the revolution that was led by our Party and positively join in this campaign. At the same time, the local situation as well as Party＇s working practice of nationality in Gan- Ning area offered the experience and the reference for form and consummation of Party＇s nationality theory system, thus finally established the basic nationality policy the regional autonomy for nationalities in the unified multinational country, such caused area and nationality of Gansu and Ningxia to have stepped onto the correct development path.
