基于SNMP的EPON网管系统设计及实现

Design and implementation of SNMP-based network management system of EPON

以太网无源光网络(EPON)是宽带接入的最有效方式之一,为其建立一套稳定、有效的EPON网络管理系统显得尤为重要。文章简要论述了EPON的结构,提出了一种基于简单网络管理协议(SNMP)的EPON网络管理系统设计方案。按配置管理、性能管理、故障管理和安全管理等功能,设计了EPON网管系统,提供了基于Web server的GUI操作管理环境,并分别在管理站和代理站上予以软件实现。

As Ethernet Passive Optical Network（EPON）is one of the most effective ways for broadband access, it is important to set up a stable and effective network management system. This paper gives a brief description of the EPON structure and presents the design plan for SNMP-based Network Management System （NMS）, taking into consideration the functions of configuration management, performance management, fault management and security management. Then it introduces Web server-based GUI for the system and explains its respective software realization at the manager and the agent.
